Current Location & Geolocation Coordinates: Real-time precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) and approximate location information (such as city, locality, postal code, and state) derived via browser geolocation API, device GPS sensors, Wi-Fi networks, or IP address when you permit access.

Roommate & Accommodation Preferences: Preferred target localities, budget boundaries, room sharing types (Single, Double, Triple), dietary habits (Veg/Non-Veg), smoking/drinking preferences, and sleep schedules.

Partner Broker & Host Verification (KYC Documents): Government ID proofs (Aadhar / PAN cards), State RERA registration certificates, cancelled cheques / bank passbook details, and business GSTIN records for regulatory compliance and verified partner badge issuance.

3 Collection and Use of Current Location Data (GPS & Geolocation)
To deliver localized, seamless accommodation discovery and community flatmate matching, SpaceSeeks accesses and processes your current geographic location. Below are the details regarding how we access, utilize, and protect your location:
Detects your immediate locality to instantly show nearby verified PGs, hostels, flats, and rooms without forcing you to manually type coordinates or addresses.
Matches you with prospective roommates, students, and working professionals residing or seeking shared accommodations in your immediate radius or office hubs.
Plots your current location on interactive Leaflet maps, calculates walking and transit distances to properties, and enables step-by-step route directions.
Verifies authentic user logins, identifies fraudulent listing attempts from remote unauthorized locations, and assists in automated address verification.
- Permission-Based: Your current location is accessed only when you click "Allow" or "Use Current Location" on your browser or device permission prompt.
- Revoke Anytime: You can modify or revoke location permissions at any time through your browser settings (e.g., Chrome/Safari Site Settings > Location > Block) or your smartphone's application permissions.
- Manual Fallback: Disabling location access will not prevent you from using SpaceSeeks; you can always manually search or select any city, area, or locality of your choice.
- No Location Resale: SpaceSeeks strictly never sells, monetizes, or shares your precise GPS location logs with third-party telemarketers or external advertising networks.
4 Broker Partner KYC Document Protection & Locking Policy
All partner KYC documents uploaded to SpaceSeeks are stored in restricted server directories protected by firewall authentication. Once an administrator verifies and approves a document, it is strictly locked to prevent unauthorized alterations or identity substitution. Re-upload is only enabled when explicitly authorized by an administrator for compliance updates.
5 How We Use Your Information

- Providing real-time location-based property recommendations, calculating commute distances, and showing accommodations near your current position.
- Matching compatible flatmates based on shared habits, gender preferences, and proximity to your college, workplace, or current locality.

- Processing automated daily rent settlements and payout transfers to verified partner bank accounts.
- Sending instant booking confirmations, visit alerts, and WhatsApp customer service updates.
6 Zero Spam & Privacy Guarantees
SpaceSeeks does not sell, rent, or trade your phone number, email, location logs, or roommate listings to third-party telemarketers or external advertisers. Your contact details are only shared with a property host when you explicitly schedule a visit or initiate direct booking.
7 Your Data Rights & Deletion Requests
You retain complete authority over your personal information. You can:
- View, update, or edit your personal profile, saved addresses, and preferences anytime from your Dashboard.
- Turn off or reset location permissions through your browser or device settings at any time.
- Pause or deactivate active roommate search listings when a match is finalized.
